I've had a hectic few days this week. I decided that I needed to fill up my card box as I've sold quite a few lately, so I set to work on some quick and easy cards. I was browsing through some of my old cards and my handbags and a shirt card stood out so I thought I'd start there.I think this one is my favorite. The papers are from my new Dovecraft Hint of Pink set. All coloured cardstock is Doodlebug crisscross. I think the black and pink make a very striking combination. The sentiments are all printed onto white card and mounted in scalloped circles using my nestabilities. I made the template for the handbag card myself, using an A6 card as the base and just cutting out some curves to the corners. The handle is cut out seperately and fastened into the card by cutting a few slits in the back of the card. I originally made a handbag card after seeing Vicky's stunning collection of handbags. Again, this one is made using the Dovecraft papers, only a grey and pink combination this time, which also work really well together. These cards sell really well with the ladies my mum works with, and also for people who want cards for little girls! All together I made 10 handbags yesterday and I was quite glad but very pleased when I'd finished! And Finally, here is my folded shirt card. The papers are a set by Shabby Princess and cardstock is doodlebug crisscross. I've used my doodlebug mini brads as buttons.
Well done selling all those cards. I'm not surprised though, they look fab. I love the Dovecraft papers, just bought some myself but not yet got round to using them.
