A New Home

What a gorgeous couple of days we've been having. I was sitting in my craft room making a few cards last night and I could hardly see anything it was so bright! Can't complain though! and I think this good weather is giving me some inspiration!

I've made this card with one of the new Pink Petticoat images. It's for my husband's Great Aunt who at 94 has just decided its time to move into a care home. Im not sure that a new home card is appropriate but I'm sure she will appreciate the gesture.

I've coloured the image in with my watercolour pencils, though not very well, but I am getting better, I think! The pink and lime card are both doodlebug crisscross, like most of my card! and I think these two colours go really well together. Ive embossed the card with the cuttlebug swiss dots folder and added one of my new stash of ribbons from Ribbon Oasis...what a fab site.

I've got some more cards to add but may have to pop back on later. Off now to enjoy a bit more of the sunshine.

Gorgeous, I've been waiting to see what people were going to create with this PP set and your card is definitely tempting me to get it.
